Security forces airman dies in Iraq

A security forces airman died Sunday in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced Monday.

Senior Airman Omar J. McKnight, 22, of Marrero, La., died as a result of a nonhostile incident at Joint Base Balad, a news release said. McKnight, who was deployed from the 6th Security Forces Squadron, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., was assigned to the 532nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron.
