X-Sailor busted for impersonating a Marine
A 34 year old chucklehead from Springfield, MO who served in the Navy for three months (count em - 3 months) in 1989 was convicted of impersonating a Marine and could go to Jail for one year and face a 10K fine.

And just how did he get busted? Attending a funeral service with his sword on the wrong side with skeptical members of the Marine Corps League present. He was also wearing the Navy Cross, Silver Star and Purple Heart. I always told my Sailors, don't fuck with Marines.

1. Curious as to why he was kicked out of the Navy
could it be too stupid?

If you are going to go to that much trouble, it would seem obvious that one would make sure the uniform is squared away.

4. Hey, Sailors like Marines.
They designed our old 13 button fly, on our old dress blues, so the Marines would have a table cloth.

5. In the Marine Corps
they teach us to wash our hands after we urinate. In the Navy they teach us not to piss on our hands. Great prelude to a good fight.

Why did the Marine cross the road? Couldn't get his dick out of the chicken.

There I go, not taking my own advice.

I really, truly love the Marines, especially the ones that protected my sorry ass in Saudi Arabia.

6. Why did god give the marine one more brain cell than a horse?

So he wouldn't shit on the parade ground.

One of my Marine stories; I was on an LKA...no shit...we carried about 600 Marines and a crew of 400 officers and MEN. One evening a Marine asked me the meaning of "stand clear of the messdecks until pipedown!" I explained we should say out of the way while the cooks are setting up for dinner. The marine replied "oh, I thought we couldn't eat until everyone was quiet."

14. HAH! Heard the pissin one but not like that Chief!
In the Army, it started off with an NCO taking a piss. Meanwhile an officer comes in and takes a piss too. The NCO finishes his buisness and walks off. The officer says: "in officer school, they taught us to wash after we take a piss." The NCO responds: "in NCO school, they trained us not to piss on ourselves."

10. Semper Fi Marine I love You Guys
The best officer I ever worked for was a Marine Lieutenant Colonel at an Air Squadron in California in the 70's. He worked my sorry little SA ass off but nobody, I mean nobody fucked with me. We had 12 Marines assigned to JTF-SWA in Saudi in the 80's. Their job was to track the terrorists who were tracking us. God, I loved having those guys around. And we had a Marine Colonel liaison officer on staff. We had a christmas gaggle buffet dinner and the Colonel was waiting to get in line. I said Colonel go ahead and eat. He said he doesn't eat until his Marines and Sailors do. God, I love you guys. There is a Marine Bar/Restaurant in Slidell, Louisiana down the road aways from where we live. Its a great place to get together and the customers are incredibly loyal. Pictures of old Sailors and Marines on all the walls.

11. Almost went Navy myself.
Edited on Wed Dec-27-06 06:59 PM by DiktatrW
My High School bud was on the Nimitz when I joined, but the Marines gave me F-4 mechanics, just figured it would pay off better in the long run.

Worked on a P-3 or twelve in Japan, Okinawa was short on squidie mechs. It's all the same for me, we did the job that needed to be done and hoped for the best for all.

I think the gentleman in the OP needs help. He is either veeeeery lonely or delusional about his percieved Bush lineage where such mistakes are embraced and made fact.

15. Just a little service sibling rivarly =D
Heck, I did my Airborne school with a bunch of your fellow Jar Heads. God was only like 20 of us tops in my company who were actually Army. Everyone else was wearing those little square patches on their caps just about, Recon folk from what I remember. Was funny, could never understand what the hell your NCOs were counting off when we would march to mess with those Marine cadances! lol
