FORT CARSON, Colo. — Four soldiers were injured when their armored vehicle weighing nearly 29 tons rolled over during training in an area southwest of the post.

Fort Carson spokeswoman Dee McNutt said one soldier was in critical condition, while another was in serious condition after the 1:30 p.m. Monday accident. The post listed two as stable, though the severity of their injuries was not immediately known.

All four were in an M992, a full-tracked, aluminum armored vehicle about 11 feet tall and 22 feet long.

The four are part of the 3rd Battalion, 16th Field Artillery, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Officials were investigating.
