February will be one of the best months for junior NCO promotions in recent years, with at least 4,746 advancing to the ranks of sergeant and staff sergeant. The following active-duty soldiers are eligible for promotions as of Feb. 1, according to Human Resources Command. Soldiers should contact their Battalion S1, personnel service battalion or personnel office to confirm eligibility.
