Money, money, money...MONEY!

Michelle Singletary of the Washington Post was interviewed on C-Span's Q&A by Brian Lamb recently. A video of it is available or via iTunes Podcast. She's funny, says you'd have to wrestle her to the ground to get $20, is ferociously against debt and for the building of wealth through property.

A tight-fisted woman of faith and discipline, she's feisty, genuine and likeable. I got the impression she'd never waste money on a book available at the public library but her latest book, has just been released and might be worth a gander.

And I was delighted to see her interviewed by Lamb. He talked to her about her life (she was raised by her grandmother who instilled the habit of saving first and property ownership in her) and referred to segments of Covenant show quite a few times. I'll NEVER, ever be as frugal as she but the book might be something new couples explore before they settle into bad habits.
