Thanks for posting this Balantz. I posted an editorial published in the LA Times this morning that also tried to expand our understanding of King's legacy.

6. I didn't get much response to my King post either....
but I don't think it had to do with the fact that I'm not part of the Obama "in crowd" :) I followed your link to the whole article -- very interesting. I can understand better now why in the last year of his life King had premonitions that he might killed for his activism.
