Does anyone use slow-down software?
I was having a talk with another dude who plays guitar. He mentioned that he uses 'slow down music software' to learn tunes by ear.
I was like, "What is that?"
After he explained it I felt like an idiot. I had never heard of it.
He gave the name of "Amazing Slow Downer" (ASD). I have the trial version.
Does anyone use anything different or a program that they think works better? I would appreciate hearing about it.

Play Loud!
Freethought.

1. If I'm trying to transcribe something that's just too fast for me to hear...
...I use QuickTime Pro.

In the A/V control window you can slow an MP3 or AIFF file down and keep the pitch the same.

3. Quicktime
I'm not sure, but I think maybe even the free Quicktime Player will do it... are you sure you need the Pro version for this feature??
