Microsoft announces AGE OF EMPIRES III

Microsoft Game Studios has announced AGE OF EMPIRES III is coming. The sequel to the award-winning real-time strategy (RTS) AGE OF EMPIRES II is being developed once again by Ensemble Studios, the same firm responsible for the other two titles in the franchise. AGE OF EMPIRES III will ship sometime in the second half of 2005, with an exact release date to be announced later by Microsoft.

My favorite series of games ever. I still play AOE 1 and the Rise of Rome on at least a monthly basis. I bought AOE 2 last year and have barely touched it, but I like it.

On top of being great games, they are probably the most stable software Microsoft has ever produced.

But you touch upon something I'll comment on.

It does seem to me that Microsoft's game division is much more reliable than the rest of MS. I can't think of a MS game that I've bought ever being buggy. The Mechwarrior line is superb, imo.
