The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall - PC - Now available Free

The first one, Arena is there as well (HA, only 9mb!), they put that one up a few years ago. Daggerfall is newly free though and only 148mb download. AND, low enough system specs even I might be able to run it :D

1. Buggy but fun

I remember playing Daggerfall (and Arena). I remember that Daggerfall was really buggy and relatively crash-prone. Despite that, it was immensely fun. My only disappointment with it was that I could never become a vampire (and I tried). I think I became a werewolf (or maybe wereboar) one time but never a vampire. I spent more time running around the areas than actually finishing the main quest (which I eventually did).
I've always liked the freedom you had in character creation with the Elder Scrolls series. It's great that they're offering it free, although I definitely won't be downloading it - I believe I still own it (I gave away a bunch of games a while back) in addition to Morrowind and Oblivion, not to mention a friend loaned me Fallout 3.

2. It runs perfect in DOSbox.
