wtf does Rockstar think it's doing? No PC version of one of their most lucrative titles. If they don't announce a PC version nearer the inevitably rescheduled date I think I will never buy another one of their games again.

The only reason I upgraded to XP was because of San Andreas. That was after every other platform including the 'Obscuro McCrapconsole' editions were released.

Again PC gamers are being relegated to the back seat while over-priced consols and their over-priced games are milked for all they are worth by greedy companies.

Who kept the GTA franchise alive with innovative mods? The PC modding community - that's who. The same community that is being crapped on from a very great height AGAIN. If only these marketing (expletive deleted) could (expletive deleted) and die the PC gamers could get some love and respect that is long overdue

peace out.

1. No PC version would be a tragedy....I'd have to EMU it.

Of course, to EMU it, I'll have to wait 2 or 3 years after it's released.

I can't believe Rockstart would do that. Sony and Microsoft must have paid them a lot of money.

2. I was ranting about this to a PS2 owner today , he said ....
Sony pays big bucks to keep the franchise exclusive to their console. Gran Turismo is a prime example.

I don't know how much a PS3 will cost in the states but in the UK it is about £450 that's about US $800. The games retail at about £50 = $90 approx. It's a price I'm not prepared to pay.

So it seems that suckling at the corporate teat is more important than a nod towards the people who are resonsible for your continued success.

4. 600$ to 800$ for the system in the states.
The 600$ is for a basic system. 800$ is for a proper system.

Games are 60$ a pop.

Not selling as well as the Wii. Therefore not feeling sorry for Sony.

3. XBOX 360? Good chance they'll have a 'GAmes for Windows" tie-in
Keep your fingers crossed.

If they shit on us then they're shitting on the folks who made them. PC Gamers actually played GTA 1 and 2.

5. Vice City and San An weren't available for PC immediately
They come out 6 to 9 months after the console versions. I've read that this is part of the agreement with console manufacturers.
