"Well, MY Character Looks Like George Clooney..."
Maybe you've heard it before. A player looking for inspiration for an RPG character thinks of a movie star, and describes him that way to the rest of the group. My current GM has always thought cinematically, and we regularly faced villains that looked like celebrities; it's fun.

For the new game, he's taking it a step farther, and in the first session he flashed sheets of paper with "opening credits," such as--in my case--"John as Ioan Gruffudd as Lt. Miles Strange." It's a cinch to find any of a thousand Horatio Hornblower pictures as a character portrait. Ditto for the battle-mage whose player said, "Boromir," but what to do with some of the odder double castings? My wife says that her character is a blonde Monica Bellucci, and where am I gonna find a depiction in the right costume?

I've therefore had to find and merge appropriate images, using Paint Shop Pro, and I'm fascinated with the results. Ever dream-cast a movie? That's what this is like:
