1. LOL more great stuff from Cracked.
"However, you've always been a Mac user and recently dropped $600 on a wireless Apple keyboard (yeah, you went with the cheap one)."

LMFAO!

2. I loved the examples
and I've done a lot of them. I have 2 drawers full of half broken keyboards and cables that don't go to anything any more. I should just box it all up and dump it on a repair shop's doorstep and be done with it but I don't. I keep devoting storage space to it.

Now I know why.

4. Gambler's Fallacy also explains religion!
Of course in reality, every time the ball is dropped into the wheel, your chances are exactly 50/50 of each color coming up.

You're just looking at a display of total and utter randomness, and seeing a pattern that isn't there.

Thanks for this to the OP, it was hilarious.

7. Reminds me of Gawker.com
Where I waste many hours.

Gawker is a sort of "umbrella site" for about eight different blogs.

Two of those blogs are Jezebel.com and Jalopnik.com.

Jezebel bills itself as the "Celebrity, Sex, and Fashion Blog," but it's much more that that. It often has some of the most incisive and funniest political threads going, with a very strong feminist slant.

Jalopnik bills itself as "Obsessed With The Cult Of Cars" and like Cracked.com is mostly "testesterone-driven."

Sometimes the two groups peek into each other's threads. Hilarity often ensues, though they generally manage to keep it civil.

Not true, of course. There are the green 0 and 00, so you odds of getting red or black are less than 50 percent and the odds of hitting any particular number are 1 in 38 while the payoff is 36 to 1. That's how the house makes it's money

9. Have you seen "The Invention of Lying?"
Great movie for skeptics/atheists.

Anyway, they use exactly that line. The movie takes place in an alternate universe where nobody can lie, ever. Not even in gambling casinos.

So at the roulette table, before the spin the dealer says something like this: "I have to tell you that the odds are in favor of the house in this game, because of the zero and double-zero on the wheel."
