Also amazing how people laugh it off so that they can avoid serious discussion on the matter, I guess that's just that unquestionable skepticism and scientific method at work. :evilgrin:

They guy who said he went into another universe was joking, but you never know. I have read about people having time slips or slipping into what could only be explained as alternate realities before. He may not have been far from the truth.

And of course there are ghosts. Having had experiences with ghosts was common among my grandmother's generation and her family, so I grew up hearing ghosts discussed as fact, not fiction. My grandfather lost a friend in a coal mining accident then heard the man calling his name in that same mine when he was there to take flammable gas readings months later. It was hard for it to have been anyone else too, considering his lost friend was a guy with a Polish accent living in the mountains of Kentucky.

I love this stuff. I wish I would have an experience. I only have had very small, questionable ones.

Wife's family grew up with ghosts. Never a big deal, obviously they were relatives!

I hope the poster follows up on it. I always like to eliminate any natural explanations first, before I settle on it as a paranormal event. They should go back, try to duplicate the orginal conditions, like time for instance, and then see if the apparition appears again.
