What's going on with Mercury right now?
Is it going retro again?

Just wondering, because some of my normally-smooth-as-buttah communications are kind of kaflooey right now.

1. It's getting ready to. Here's a link to katty's thread about it.

Here's yet more information about this specific retrograde:

It's my understanding that we can begin to feel the retrograde effects a few days before the official retrograde period begins, so I'd say that it's very possible that you're feeling it now.

2. Thank you, IHAD.
I'm not as well-versed in astrology as some other folks who post in this forum, so I appreciate the links.

3. Man, we are headed into one f'ed up Mercury Retro here.
Usually, they don't interfere with my verbal communication skills much, but this one is already messing with my perspicuity. And Merc is in my 12th house natally at the moment (blech; I'm just not going to open my mouth for the next three to five weeks).

6. Seems like this one is particularly nasty
MG Jr. is sick (and gave it to me of course); I scoured the school handbook for how to report absences, but there was nothing about calling the school the day your child is sick--just that you have to send a note when they go back. But this morning...(ring ring) "This is the school. Is MG Jr. sick?" SIGH! I TOLD them their handbook has NOTHING in it about calling, but she ignored me. Figures!

So I had to cancel my hair appointment today--which I REAAALLLLYYYY need, and the earliest I can get in there now is end of October if I want my stylist, or October 3 if I want to settle for another stylist. I chose the other stylist, considering my hair is turning into a white-chick 'fro as I type.

Plus, yesterday, I spilled an ENTIRE GALLON of paint on the floor.

And it's not even full retrograde yet? YIKES! :hide:

7. it's like a temporal lobe blew a flat for me.
i'm slightly off and the language classes are not gelling as fast as they used to. i'll try to be more mindful and stick to the positive talk as much as possible for a while now. this one seems to be a doozy of a retrograde.

10. Well, I just got home from a 2-hour job interview, and I think
Mercury left me alone during that time, thank The Maker.

11. I went home at noon and slept till 3:30!
Every time I tried to "wake up" I got dizzy and nauseous. I refer to this as a kind of "magnetic sickness" ..like the planet os pulling me in a few directions at once...
:puke:

I am glad it is the weekend, but ya, next week (and beyond) is going to be a doozy.

It will be interesting to see how it affects the debates, anyone got a handle on the transits? Hard to imagine McCain being any MORE inept at communication!! lol

12. At our office today, the phones, computers and the dispatch radio all went down off and on all day.
I've also had miscommunications with meeting times/places, car issues and computer stuff (at home) this past week or so. It really feels like Merc Rx already!

14. I am hating this retro!
It's totally messing up communications with some of the people who are closest to me, and it's driving me nuts!

I'm working at staying centered, but even when I manage it, it seems that things still get cattywompus.

Sigh.

I really hate this. I feel like bursting into tears nearly every day.

I know it will be over soon, but it really sucks right now.
