1. I've read a bit about the date - something is going to happen

the last week of Sept that will have the entire world talking, culminating on 10/7/08. Personally, I think it is economic, what with Lehman Bros., talk about Citigroup (the large bank in the world), National City Bank, Wacovia (sp?) bank, etc. I think it is the end of capitalism, with the dark side holding on tooth and nail until the election. The economy was suppose to hold on until then. Start watching the spin about how it wasn't their fault, but the Clinton era, etc.

It really will be a bumpy ride, and fits with some things astrologically, doesn't it? I do wish I could find the article I read on the internet tubes back in 2000 about what the Aquarian age really holds - the entire upheaval of structures (which really sounds like Pluto in Capricorn).

Hold on, it really is going to be a bumpy ride.

2. I've felt that we are waiting

for something unexpected and very changing to happen. I think we're getting into position now to be prepared for it. Personally, I'm relying more on inner guidance and less on outside people and institutions. I've had this intuitive hit that now is the time to go to the strength within. I've found myself severing long-term ties with people--ties that had become habits, almost overlooked, but when they were examined, were not necessary. Almost like throwing superfluous stuff overboard in preparation for a storm.

I do know there are some who are predicting a public display of UFOs "filling the skies" on October 14, not 7th. I posted a thread about that.

Can you give some specifics?

4. Oh, darn

I just tried Starlight News and apparently the site is down at the moment. There's a reference to what I wrote about some halfway through the very many responses to her article of about five days ago. I was going to look for it and do a copy and paste for you.

The radio program is about an hour long, so I understand if you don't have or want to spend the time listening to it. However, the Half Past Human site is apparently some kind of data-gathering group, which culls language and specific words -- I'm just not clear on how they do it or just what sources they monitor -- on the theory that the collective unconscious (only I don't know if they express it that way, and I don't want to put words into their mouths) somehow knows what's going to happen. They claim to have picked up some months before that a cataclysmic event was to happen on Sept 11, 2001.

One problem with trying to figure out if they are on the up and up is that they charge a great deal of money, $280 for a new subscription to their service, although renewals are only $70. If you go to the Half Past Human website they talk some about this.

Here's one paragraph from the part of that website The Future:
This will be especially true in 2008. The detail layers suggest vast changes across the whole of the social order on this planet. And on other planets in our solar system as well. Leaving our solar neighbors out of the picture for just now, the details suggest that meta data levels of activity here on Terra will combine to produce alterations at such levels as to affect *all* of daily life in this next year. It will start and end with food production. From large scale changes in weather/climate patterns which will devastate the growing of food crops, to coast changes growing in over the year, the meme will dominate. Other impacts on food production will come from the expanding meme, and its impact on energy costs, and thus food supplies globally. Further impacts on all other parts of the social order will be felt as well.

The language they use strikes me as very dense and abstruse, but they are convinced that something big is going to hit on October 7th or 8th and will profoundly affect us all. The language indicates to me a real global economic meltdown, and of course we are all aware of what's currently happening on Wall Street. I suspect if we were to be able to talk to the people that run this site they'd say this isn't it, just to hold on until the beginning of October. This particular site does not seem to be suggesting UFO's, but I'm not going to arbitrarily rule that out.

5. Here's a bit on what the web bots are saying

Here is some of what the person (Cliff) who sorta runs the web bots has predicted:

October 7th is still on track as emotional relase langauge point.
- 5 month release cycle
- No mention of predicted event for today/Sept. 3.
- Sept 27, 2008 will plateau for 10 fays until oct. 7, when it starts to fall apart (somewhat new)
(Note Freddie and Fannie Refi shceduled for this time. people metaphorically holding breath for 10 days.)

- Miliatry series of errors / mistakes starting October timeframe

- Bots to confirm economic problems by Sept. 22 in the 709 series report

- Consumer spending dies as we currently know it.
- New manufacturing returns to Us quickly (high oil price driven.)
- NorthEast closure of schools due to extrme cold/lack of heating capacity
- Same NorthEast schools later reopened as shelter of last resort.

- Extremely Cold Winter; food rationing in some form (govt control or high prices.)
- Fisheries breakdown
- Harvest off by 1/3 to 1/2 early next Year
- Possible cause of Summer of Revolution is failed food harvests in Spring 2009

- West Coast / Vancouver area is possible location of LARGE EQ in the Dec. 12th timeframe.
- Significant number of rare planentary alignments.
