An experiment for those who use Reiki

This idea popped into my head the other day when I was feeling less than good and wanted to perk myself up a bit.

Draw in your aura until it is about 1 to 2 feet out from the edge of your body if you are like me and tend to spread waaaaaaaay out. Do a quick wipe down with your hands like you are squeeging off any stuff picked up from others and smoothing out any lumps, bumps, or thin spots. Just reach as far as comfortable and use intention to reach all the far away bits. Clap three times or draw CKR on your palms to transmute any of the yuk picked up from the aura clearing.

Ground yourself. Sketch HSZSN above your head or say it with the intention that it appears at the top of your aura. I still haven't memorized the gestures (:o) so I 'cheat' and just say it ;) Then using your gestures or intention stretch it out until it is bigger across than your aura. Next (using intention or hand gestures) draw the enlarged symbol down around you like a strainer passes through water until it reaches the bottom of your aura. Draw it back up to the top of your aura and repeat if you like. I did 3 sets. Repeat this process with SHK, CKR, and Raku.

Leave out any symbols you are not comfortable using in this way or just don't want to use. I add this for anyone who is more traditional than I am. I myself think of the symbols as psychic shorthand to focus the intent of the Reiki energy. I never have managed a perfect drawing of any of the symbols they are always lopsided and awkward and yet they still work for me. They worked for me and others I know who were Reiki I despite many who earnestly assured me they couldn't and wouldn't work. One woman was agast I would even try :shrug: I figured what the heck, I was going to get Reiki II eventually so why not try 'em out now. Anyhoo I hope someone likes my experiment enough to try it and see if it perks you up like it did me!

1. BTW anyone else noticing more intense energy flow when doing Reiki lately?

For nearly a week now I am feeling so much more intensity when the Reiki flows like I somehow got upgraded in the amount I can channel. It feels almost as intense as when I got my first attunement before I acclimated. It is not really noticiable when I work on myself, which is the norm for me, but anyone else it is WOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :crazy:

I have no idea where it came from, either! I received my master degree eleven years ago!

I like the idea you listed and will try it. BTW, what is the Raku symbol? I wasn't taught that.

3. I forgot Raku was a somewhat recent intoduction to Reiki

In the version I was taught it is used by the Reiki master to separate the energy of the teacher and student after attunement. I tried it to see if it would separate my energy from a psi vamp I was having a phone conversation with who in addition to draining my energy was giving me her headache. It was finally dawning on me that when ever I talked to this friend I would start out feeling good, even cheerful, and after a few minutes I was ready to crawl into bed for a nap and had a pounding migraine like headache focused right in the third eye. Actually it felt like a spike was being driven into the middle of my forehead. The friend would always say at the end of our talk how she felt SOOOOOO much better and a few times mentioned her headache was now gone. Well I sketched SHK and CKR to clear my energy and Raku to separate us. The friend brought the conversation to a quick close and within a couple of minutes the headache was completely gone.:woohoo:

After that I finally believed that some people are psi vamps and I started experimenting more with Raku. I like to draw it on my aura along with the other symbols to help keep me from melding with everyone else's energy like I used to do as a very leaky empath. I also use it after sending reiki to others as well. One time when I was feeling awful cranky with PMS I treated my Mom's aura like that before she went to bingo and I felt like I was being shoved away from her by a wall of energy. I hadn't realized I radiated so much yuk at times like that or that the treatment was so effective at repelling bad vibes!!! I tried this on her as according to relatives who go to various bingos there tend to be cliques at each one who make nasty comments and other wise act rude to anyone who wins outside of their little group. I wanted to protect my Mom from their vibes and ended up repelling myself :P

4. My friend is a reiki healer and sent me some healing this afternoon that knocked my socks off

Seriously--the reiki completely erased the gigantic amount of negativity that had clung to me all day.
