Roulston embraced the alternative remedy, along with eating healthier and staying out of bars, and was back on the bike less than two months later, winning the national men's road title and Tour of Southland.

He finished a superb fourth in the individual pursuit at the world championships in Manchester last March, rocketing into gold medal calculations for Beijing.

Along with his partner Angelique and family, his reiki healer will be in Beijing: "Reiki is the the be-all and end-all for me ... it's pretty amazing stuff."

Oh, man, he must have had some big time blockages in his heart chakra before finding the reiki person.

BTW, I recently read the health forum, and, I wanted to let you know that I admire your efforts there to get others to recognize the power of energy healing. You demonstrate admirable restraint when your OP is attacked, and, I think you are shedding some light into that forum.

You are making a "dent". I hope you give yourself this credit. I am definitely not as courageous as you are.

I even two kids who are rebubs. I won't argue with them very much because I see they are thinking for themselves despite being products of a liberal household.

But, lately, I am finding that they both are asking me more questions about, for instance, "How come stores are open longer?". I am glad to tell them that the economy is really so bad that stores are forced to stay open later. Glad in the sense that what we have now is so absolutely not working. They do seem to be listening.

Tell them about Bohemian Grove--that grown men have a Cremation of Care ceremony where a mock baby is sacrificed. That's always good for openers.
