1. Happy Solstice
Here are the cosmic energies for today from Mark Lerner

Daily Cosmic Calendar

As mentioned in yesterday's calendar entry, you may experience a cornucopia of blessings and opportunities for forward progress in a wide variety of activities since the Moon makes its monthly union with Jupiter in Capricorn (6:23AM PDT). You should get going with key professional ventures while the cosmos aids your efforts in the early hours. Before you know it, a void lunar cycle begins (12:03PM PDT) and this limbo time-period lasts until 2:35AM PDT on Saturday when the Moon arrives in service-oriented Aquarius.

7. You don't ***have*** to do anything. LOL
Yet if you are so drawn (inadvertent bad pun) feel free.

I don't thing there is ever really an inopportune time to take a bath. Some cultures support taking them during eclipses (dunk in the Ganges perhaps?) or lunations.

Whenever one feels the need to purify will do though.

8. I've a very cool cousin who runs a commercial greenhouse.

He's really generous with me especially with new varieties of various plants for which he wants my feedback. I'm ostensibly sort of his horticultural guinea pig.

Here are the three varieties he's given me this year about which I'm most excited. . .

They are at least new to me. He said he only ordered the Bela Lugosi Day Lily (the purple one) because he thought it had a funny name.

Glad you liked the other lilies and hope it's a great season for you mother earth.

10. It was a 110 degrees in my county today. It has never been this hot ever here
by the California coast.:spray: I'm grateful that earth starts moving away from the sun tomorrow, so Happy Solstice anyway.

11. I confess I had a quite uninspiring solstice evening
Each member of my family off doing their separate thing, including me. I need to figure out a way to get us all reconnected.

16. Hope everyone had a good one!
Unfortunately, ours was nonexistent, as MG Jr. had a relapse with this damned stomach bug that's been hanging on for weeks. He celebrated the solstice by throwing up all over mama and dada's bed. Whee. :(

Oh well. Nowhere to go but up! :hi:

May things be less awful than we fear and better than we expect. (So be it.)
