Hi all, I am new to this group - my name is The Straight Story
I hope to spend more time here, and have a lot to post about (I spend most my time in GD).

I am have spent a lot of time in my life on Spiritual studies, have had pre-cog dreams, and so on and I hope I can spend some time here sharing that.

I would like to get a birth chart, never had one done.

I think the time was between 2-2:30am, it does not say on my birth certificate and I can't ask mom as she has passed on.

10/20/65, columbus, ohio
Todd H.
approx 2-2:30am

Maybe it would give me a little insight into why the last 4 years have been darned insane. I know the day to day reasons/issues but I do believe in a higher power, and am not the type to discount alternate ways to view and understand life.

Thank you all, and maybe later tonight I will post more (dinner is on, so I have some time while it simmers - wife is making chili and porkchops - MMMMMM)

-At any rate THANK YOU all for having an open mind and posting here, I will try to spend more time here posting and learning from you.

1. For birth chart
go to astro.com.

It will draw it up for you for the right price -- nothing!!

Welcome.

2. I can't read your chart, but I can create it for you. Hopefully, others will be...
able to give you some feedback. It's too bad that you don't know the exact time because, in your case, there are real differences in that half an hour time difference. Both your moon and ascendant are different. :(

Here are the two natal charts:

2:00am:

2:30am:

Here are the two charts also with the planets where they currently are on 2/24/08 (transits) on the outside:

2:00am with 2/24/08 transits:

2:30am with 2/24/08 transits:

24. Hmmmm, I like the Virgo rising chart.
Virgo rising has an affinity for reality (the straight story). Notice how the Moon is in Leo at 2, and Virgo at 2:30. That is why an accurate birth time is important. My thinking is that having both Virgo rising and Moon would double your desire to see reality. The Moon in the twelfth house would fool you into thinking that you do see reality. I admit that I see my projections, but just because they are projections doesn't mean they're wrong. ;-)

As Stella said, Uranus charged your natal Plato-Uranus conjunction. That would bring issues of change to the forefront. My rhetorical question is: What changes have you made in the last few years, and what changes have been forced on you? When Pluto is involved, if we don't agree to let go of things that are no longer useful, Pluto rips them from us without pity. Uranus is moving on now, so you should see more stability as time passes.

Saturn on your Moon is often an uncomfortable time, that happened last year. It sounds like you made it through with family intact, a divorce can sometimes be a worse case scenario. In general, feelings of loneliness are common, hard work of the emotional kind is often called for, and some loss is not out of the question. It is a great time to go for therapy or attend personal growth workshops, so if you started yoga classes last year you should be starting to see real benefits. Personally, I think meditation should be taught in kindergarten.

Mars is activating your Jupiter, so put some energy into making yourself happy. Be selfish for a little while, don't worry about saving the world. With Jupiter in Cancer, food makes you happy, so take care that you don't gain too much weight. Indulge every Sunday, and eat healthily the rest of the week.

BTW, there are plenty of people in this section with prominent Virgo. We are all trying to calm down when we aren't trying to make things perfect.

Bill

26. Changes in the last few years.... rofl
You must not read GD

Seriously though my friend, I bought a house next door to my mom. My neighbor died, then mom, wife had major asthma attack and nearly died, them mom #2, then my X wife (and I had not seen my kids in 8 years), then my neighbor's wife (the one who died earlier), another neighbor hung himself, then another one dropped dead at the mall, then wife got diagnosis of a an arachnoid cyst on the brain, then parkinson's disease. My job was growing (I got promoted several times during all this) and was the best manager the bank had for data centers, then moved to CA got laid off two jobs and am unemployed.

And that does not include about half the things the last few years have encompassed as far as changes :)

It's been insane. But slowly things are changing for the better.

4. Since you are in Ohio
a Lynn McGowen in Yellow Springs is the best. You will have to look up her phone number. Leave your contact information and birth-date, time, place on her answering machine. Waiting list...6 months but the readings are superb. She is with you 1 1/2 hours.

Welcome to the best Forum in DU. I don't get into too much trouble here. :hi:

5. Welcome to the group.
Without taking an in depth look, the duration of your difficulty appears somewhat related to Uranian influences. It was on your descendant and triggering your Uranus/Pluto opposed Chiron/Saturn for roughly that amount of time.

I'd look for relief in terms of your secondary progressions which is sort of tough with such a vague birth time.

Every four minutes makes a difference with birth times.

Still one can glean plenty of info with a half hour window. It's just not quite as precise.

Don't sweat it. You'll get plenty of support here and again, welcome.

12. Do you have the wallet sized birth certificate or the larger one with your baby feet
ink marks?

I have addresses for the divisions of vital statistics in each state and the data regarding from what years they started recording birth times. It varies state to state. In what state were you born?

If there is a baby book kicking around it might be in there as well.

19. Why hello there! Glad you made the trip down!
It is pretty different than what you might see in GD or (thankfully!) GDP, but it is an amazing group of people in here. Lots of support and very little snarkiness.

I think some of us have faced crap in our lives for what we believe, and that many are just people who choose to stay above the fray.

Welcome to you!
