I am filled with gratitude this morning.
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 06:13 AM by lildreamer316
Thanks to the Universe for the shift; for the outward showing of the inner decision by this large group of souls to take this experiment in human experience in the right direction.

All praise to the god in each of us, to the divine spark that has shown through when it was needed most.

The striving is not over, but the light at the end is bright, and even at this distance bathes us in love.

My will is strong. My love is vigilant. My energy is bright.

I send thanks to all. I am more grateful in this moment than I have ever been, except when graced by the gift of carrying another soul to their life.

1. I also feel such gratitude to the Universe and to everyone here at DU...
especially this group. I also have to mention stellanoir, who inspired so many (in GD at that!) to visualize all votes being counted fairly. Thanks, stella! Who knows, our visualization might just have tipped the scales towards justice! :)

It's funny and peculiar to me. I've worked on an energetic level for many, many, many years. The impact of these efforts are truly immeasurable but my spirit compells me on the deepest of levels to do so periodically.

The evolution of that particular effort was inspired by all of you and largely from this forum, coupled with an affirmation of my perspective from Kryon several weeks ago when I was really hurting.

I have to chuckle though when I hear of people attending weekend shamanic workshops. Though I do respect their efforts and intentions, I wonder if they really knew what a sometimes thankless and exhaustive process it often is, I wonder if they'd be so inclined to pursue such endeavors.

We can still "co create with spirit that all the votes be counted fairly in Montana and Virginia" but I don't feel it's warranted to post yet another thread in GD right now as the momentum may just require some gentle "goosing."

What is still heartwarming to me is the vast majority of posters on this board who clearly have some spiritual understanding and they only need to be reminded of it.

LOL and Gaia told me last month that I'd done enough already. I'm so-o-o rebellious but she probably knows that all too well. Hey that may have been a set up. Too funny really.

Anyhoo thanks again to all of you.

Aaaaand never forget "Oooga, Boooga, Woooga, Smoooga." Don't know whether any of you saw helderheid posting of just that on a thread last night. It got moved to the lounge but ended up on the greatest page anyway. LOL Even OMC chimed in humorously.

2. Me too. I feel like the energy really has shifted.
I didn't want to get my hopes up too high because I've done that before with Gore, Kerry, etc. and the disappointment was crushing. But - it happened! IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!! Hallelujah! I really feel like the world might be coming out of a horrible period.

3. Yes, same here ....
I found myself taking several deep, relaxing, relief-filled breaths as the night wore on; and was up and hoppin' around at 5:30 this morning.

I'll probably be exhausted by noon :) ... but, in a good way.

Thanks to Spirit, the Universe, and to all the hard workers at DU and across the country that helped make this happen.

5. Phew. . .just phew. . .
I'm so grateful for all the lovely souls in this forum and all the support I got in the "magical thinking" thread the other day.

I'm just so relieved.

I put this on votesomemore's thread the other day but in case anyone missed it I'll post it again 'cause it's a good one.

"Morning Song

From the God/ Goddess of my being I give forth thanks
for the love that I am.
For the love in my life and the love that surrounds me,

thank you.

Thank you for the miracle of life that I am and
thank you for the miracle of life I see reflected all about me.

Thank you for the gift of life that I am.
Thank you for this perfect body, my health and well-being,

thank you.

Thank you for the abundance that I am and
thank you for the abundance I see reflected all about me.
Thank you for the riches and the richness of my life and
thank you for the river of money which flows to me and through me,

thank you.

Thank you for the excitement and adventure of the millions of wondrous
possibilities and wondrous probabilities,

thank you.

Thank you for the wonderment and thank you for the joy.

Thank you for the beauty and harmony.

Thank you for the peace and tranquility.

Thank you for the laughter and thank you for the play.

And thank you for the privilege of serving and sharing the gift that I am.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

7. ya know
when you first posted this, and even now, it is just overwhelming.
This little mortal here has to take it in small bites.
It is a beauty. If you can contain all of that, your heart is immense~!

I'm going to start from the bottom up ..

And thank you for the privilege of serving and sharing the gift that I am.

8. Praise be to the souls who worked so hard to make this happen.
I am sooooo relieved and grateful. In 2000, 2002, and 2004, I remember going to bed thinking there was a good chance we would win, only to wake up and find my hopes dashed. This morning, I was finally able to take a good, deep breath.
This is truly a mandate. The people have spoken.

10. Am absolutely grateful to the universe &, of course, our fearless
Stella! Stella, you are one brave and beautiful soul.

Aside from being completely in thanks and awe, I think we have learned something to boot. I am thinking it was just far too much to try to steal all of the diff.
elections/races going on & perhaps the power to steal it is reserved only for the pres. elections where they have far greater control. Just a thought. I don't care how we did, the fact is we did it.

I haven't checked anything else out here, this forum is always my first stop. Have we heard about the Senate yet?

I'm still doing a little dance of joy over Deval Patrick's victory. He ran against a completely negative campaign & did so without stooping to Healey's level & came out on top, despite the swift boat attempts. MA now has a dem. gov. again, which hasn't been so since Dukakis was in office.

I just want to further send out positive thoughts to Pelosi for the strength to persevere in what is going to be an incredible journey. I feel the justice and accountability being restored, I am so GRATEFUL for getting our checks and balances back & know that the light is shining on all of us.

14. Oh dear. . .thanks for the kind acknowledgment.
I'm hardly fearless though. The wall of fear I had to overcome to post that "magical thinking" thread overwhelmed and paralyzed me for more than a couple weeks. It was HUGE especially in the shadow of the eviceration of the rule of law and the suspension of habeas corpus and the signing of the Military Commissions Act which essentially temporarily legalizes sadism without charges, recourse, or legal representation. That was awful.

I only got through that wall of fear through intense prayer and the assistance of two dear friends on Sunday and again on Monday morning.

It's funny. As the old adage goes. . ."there is fine line between bravery and foolhardiness." Which side of that line of demarcation I reside remains to be seen and evaluated. I'll defer that call to the "cosmic parole board."

Now if I could only just apply the same degree of focus to clean up my personal life. Yikes.

Didn't know you that you and I are neighbors. If we have an Indian Summer feel free to travel south and I'll give you the nickel tour of my favorite neighborhood "yocal" power spot. It's a beach. I won't even charge you a nickel either. :) PM me if you ever so desire.

Best to you and it's truly a humbling privilege to channel and court a perspective that is unique and can resonate with so many brilliant souls on both the political and the spiritual realms. For that and so much more, I'm enormously grateful.

Aaaand Phew.

I've posted this before but running the risk of redundancy, one of my two spiritual teachers said in the late 80's, that there would "be a second flood. . .it would be a flood of ideas." This day may just represent a tidal shift from a period of intense distortion and deceit, to a restoration of truth, honesty, and accountability based on universal law. Perhaps the tide has turned and that, as the I Ching says, "that crescendo of awfulness," is now subsiding. That's how I feel and I pray it is true.

Hope you are too.

Let's all stick together in spiritualism and humanism and we'll pull this through.

"Break on through. . ." :)

and mazeltoff.

years, so I am feeling great relief and an excitement for new possibilities.

I try to keep my state of mind balanced and focused on my personal position in the world, but I can't help it, I am incredibly sensitive to influences and events which my whole being interprets as NEGATIVE......

So, yeah, I also am very very happy by this turn of events in US election behavior, and feel a sense of peace and hope for the future for us, our children and theirs.

But lots of work to be done and lots of vigilance needed to not squander this political advantage and to maintain voter support!

13. I am in tears--happy tears
First the election, now Rummy--and who's next? We can only speculate. The dam has burst, after six long, painful, agonizing years. Can you feel it?

During the '04 elections I often sang the song I get my username from--"Morning Glow", from the musical Pippin. I was crushed when the election didn't go our way. Devastated. I was so sure...

This year, I remained cautiously optimistic--like a victim of abuse, I didn't want to dare hope and be crushed again.

Now--NOW I can post the tune, and sing it loud and clear. :woohoo:

Morning glow, morning glow
Starts to glimmer when you know
Winds of change are set to blow
And sweep this whole land through
Morning glow is long past due

Morning glow, fill the earth
Come and shine for all you're worth
We'll be present at the birth
Of old things looking new
Morning glow is long past due

Oh morning glow
I'd like to help you grow
We should have started long ago
So

Morning glow, all day long
While we sing tomorrow's song
Never knew we could be so strong
But now it's very clear
Morning glow is almost here

Morning glow, by your light
We can make a new day bright
And the phantoms of the night
Will fade into the past
Morning glow is here

At last.

17. Yeah. It's a little more low key for me than for some, but--feelin' good.
I think I will go play that song by Nina Simone, which is what I do when I want to celebrate the feelin' good.
