1. Is anyone else
having some difficulties discussing parts of the book rather than just whatever comes to mind? I am, although I like the idea of having separate threads so they do not get so bogged down. I was also wondering if demexpat is still here, as I haven't read many of her posts, and miss her perceptiveness.
Regarding the book, I was particularly interested in Suzanne's words for Matthew's description of how they communicate. That it is alike a tire tread, with the marks within the tread being the message.

2. My problem is I flew through this first book
Then started on the second one and am almost finished with that. Trying to go back now and discuss the sections without jumping ahead of everyone else just takes a little more effort, I guess. Personally, once I began reading this book, I started having dreams of being in heaven. I really felt a connection. While I understand people's hesitation not to be sceptible, being completely open to what is written about Nirvana, what they do, how they take care of newcomers, the animals, etc. gives me an enormous feeling of peace and wellbeing. My reaction more than not to most of what is said is "oh yeah, that's right." As Matthew says, we are not learning here on earth, we are working on remembering.

7. I can understand
wanting to read more of these, and of connecting with how things are done in Nirvana. I haven't started having dreams of being there, but noticed that I've incorporated the idea of a pre-birth agreement into some of my dreams. So I guess I am dealing with it all at some level.

5. I think that you should feel comfortable discussing whatever comes...
to mind as well. This breakdown by section method is not perfect, and I don't think that it should interfere with our ability to discuss the book if you need to discuss it another way, ydd.

3. Others feel free to share your reaction to Matthew's
description of heaven.

Some points I thought were interesting:

Each planet or realm has its own Nirvana or staging place for discarnate beings.

Earth's heaven is supposed to be one the most beautiful.

Heaven is mainly a residential and learning placement.

4. I really liked the section on the animals that are in Nirvana.
He said that they have all of the herbivores that we have in zoos except for the rhinoceros because its brain doesn't allow its fierce energy to be transmuted into a benign energy. Because of this, it can't survive in Nirvana's density. I don't know why, but I found this to be really weird.

He discussed the whales and dolphins, and he's done this in at least one of his dated messages as well. He said that these beings are the most intelligent and spiritually evolved Earth beings, and that, on Earth, the whale's huge form is required for holding the light frequency in their environment and for communication, but this is not required in Nirvana. (I seem to recall Matthew saying in the dated message that this is why whales have been hunted as they have -- because they are important in reference to holding the light on Earth or the higher vibration or something like that, and, the dark forces think that by eliminating them, they'll be one step closer to overcoming the light.)

6. Matthew Books - Animals
Hi. I have read all four of the Matthew books which were sent to me directly by his mother. It is hard to go back to the basics by the time you read Book 4. I was overjoyed that animals populate Nirvana, it wouldn't be Heaven to me without them. But why some are excluded, I do not know. I am glad there aren't fleas or flies, but why is any life form discriminated against?

9. I don't think these life forms are discriminated against. I think they
are a form of pestilence brought into being by earth humans' negative energy and separation from their godselves. And the rhino's DNA will not allow it to become a peaceable animal. I don't completely understand that part, but I'm sure we'll understand in time. Maybe it's a 3-D thing. I also thought it was interesting that Matthew said that the whales and dolphins are much smaller in Nirvana--they needed to be larger in 3-D density in order to anchor the light.

10. How did you manage
to have Suzanne Ward send you the books? I am glad, too, that most animals are alive and well in Nirvana. I don't get the reasons for the exclusions, especially of most species of fish. The Rhino thing is more understandable, since Nirvana is considered a haven. It makes sense that animals like fleas and ticks or extremely ferocious animals wouldn't be welcome. Just like the dark energy souls would be kept at lower densities. I'm liking the idea of a place where light energy souls are protected and nourished- that is so different from what we are experiencing here.

11. How I Got the Books
Yellow, I was online and saw the site about the books. There was an email address for Suzanne Ward. I emailed her and told her my husband was undergoing cancer treatment and it sounded like these books would get me through my terror of what if I lost him. She sent me the four books telling me they were not sellable due to little things wrong with the covers etc. and she wanted me to have them. She inscribed the first book "With wishes for love and peace in all your lifetimes". She seems like a truly genuine and lovely woman. I never expected a direct reply from her, let alone the books!

14. My Husband
So far, we have been very blessed. John has had a second stem cell transplant just 4 months ago with his brother donating his stem cells. He is in remission now. If the transplant truly works, he could be considered cured. He has had lymphoma for 12 years. I have started reading spiritual books because I don't have a strong religious faith but I need to know to the best extent I can know, that I will be with him again should he go before me. Now he is doing very well and we are both relaxing a little. Suzanne Ward was so supportive of my situation! Has anyone had an NDE experience or am I bringing up the wrong topic, straying from the book? Any contacts, like Suzanne has had? I need to believe in such things and the Matthew Books have been comforting. love and peace to all.

15. I don't think that it's straying too far from the topic of the book.
Edited on Sat Oct-07-06 10:34 PM by I Have A Dream
However, you may actually want to start a separate thread asking about this topic. (You may get more responses.)

There are some people here who are able to communicate very clearly with loved ones on the other side. Our beloved Ecumenist is extremely gifted at this.

Another book that you might find interesting is the book that we read during our last book read -- "Journey of Souls" by Dr. Michael Newton. I found it to be extremely informative and interesting. The link to the thread in reference to that book read is below:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=245&topic_id=18569&mesg_id=18569

Here's a link to the book on Amazon:

If you'd like to have a separate thread started and would prefer that I start it for you, I'd be happy to do so; just let me know, Whimsy.

Most importantly, I'm so happy to hear that your husband is doing well.

16. Too late for me to edit the post above, but I just remembered...
that rumpel recently posted a thread where she mentioned a site that she found that is about Near Death Experiences. Here's the link in case you're interested:

13. how neat is that!
What a nice thing for her to do, and I'm sure that reading them does help a great deal in dealing with your husband's illness.
I mean, at least you will know that when he does go, he will be in a pleasing and growing environment. And I bet that would go a long way toward letting him go when that has to happen. It seems like Matthew explained how important it is to not go too far with grieving. That it affected him for a long time, and made him feel sad. I have a 91 year old Dad whom I will have to let go of soon, and am having a difficult time doing that. It's easier said than done, for sure. Nirvana or no Nirvana.
