Pro Bono Reading?
I've been having a run of life changing events. Since I'm a strong believer in astrological (and para-normal) impacts I would really like to have my chart done. I just lost my job so I can't afford to pay to have it done right now. I don't trust the on-line sites. I really could use some insight if anyone would be willing?????

I was born May 26, 1961 at 3:25 AM in Springfield, Missouri.

I appreciate any comments!!

2. No I'm not sure. It's been so long since I've had a reading...
For some reason Mercury comes to mind but I really don't know.

Pretty cool you have the same birthdate. I have another friend that has the same birthdate and year. We were both really stunned when we figured it out and thought the other one was just kidding around.

3. go to astro.com
www.astro.com is a great site. There's a place there where you can input all your birthdata and it will come up with your natal chart. Once you have that, you can do a chart that shows how the transiting planets affect your birth chart. And all this for the low, low, low price of GRATIS!!
You need: date of birth, place of birth, and time of birth. If you don't have time of birth, you won't be able to find out the house placements or your rising, but you will still get an idea of what birth planets have significant connections with other planets.
Lotsa fun!
BTW, my rising is Libra.

4. Hey--another Missourian (by birth anyway)!
My whole family is from that area--my Dad and his sister grew up in Springfield. I'm sorry that I can really help with your problem, as I am just an amateur with all this astrology and spirituality stuff, but it's my humble opinion that the best people in the world come from MO. So, no matter what you're going through, if you were born in Springfield, that's some good protection against whatever's troubling you. :-)

6. Coool...
I love Missouri. It will always be home to me. However, so is Arizona, now. I haven't been back home for a long time. Mom and Dad have decided it's been too long and are sending me money for a visit in the next couple of weeks. Some of the very best people I know I met in Springfield!

7. Yeah, I always thought Springfield was a special place.
I had the best summers ever there, visiting my grandparents as a child.

...Saturn (ruler of your midheaven and 10th house of career)stationed direct on April 5th tightly square your ascendant. (there are many explanations of things astro here http://astrologysoftware.com/cg/x.dll?P=na2&sql=E1&TP=1&orig= if needed)

Also your Mercury at 27 Gemini is caught up in an opposition between Pluto and Mars (at 26 Sagittarius and 27 Gemini). In your natal chart, Mercury rules your 6th house of daily work and your 2nd house of earned income so both have been impacted by this potentially volatile combination (please take care of yourself as the 2nd is also about self-esteem and the 6th about health- these things are so intertwined). Transiting Mercury is moving into a square aspect with this opposition from your 12th house and on April 11th will oppose the transiting Moon in your 6th. With the 6th/12th house axis involved it would be wise to take extra care of your health- comfort yourself. Do what you can to feel better at this hard time.

Over the past few years you have been living through your "middle-age" transits; transiting Neptune square natal Neptune, t. Uranus opposed n. Uranus, and your second Saturn opposition. In addition to these, because your natal Sun tightly squares natal Pluto, when transiting Pluto squared itself (about 9 years ago), it also opposed your Sun. Possibly events involving partnership (romantic or otherwise)kicked off what seems to be challenge after challenge in the years since. Though Pluto will oppose your Mercury for about two more years, there is easing up of other particularly challenging transits.

Edited to add: A few years after the middle age squares and oppositions, you get trines!!! We all eventually get major trines!

8. Thank you so much sofedup....
I guess I haven't been to far off when I've been saying I'm going through a mid-life crises.

Actually I didn't notice the impact until September 2001, not 9-11 more like 9-3. That's when my long term significant other's mother had a stroke. It's a way long story but it was the beginning of the end of what I thought was the greatest relationship (and I think he thought so, too). I can actually remember in August of 2001 thinking I was the luckiest person and everything in my life was so right and had never been better. Everything has been one thing after another after another. Everytime I think it's got to ease up it doesn't. I've had plenty of trying times throughout my life but always came through on top somehow. But things have been so relentless since 9/2001 I just feel beat up and defeated (two things I never thought I would feel...I use to be a lot tougher than I am now).

Thanks for the information. I don't know what trines are but I'm going to go find out!!!! I think I'm ready for a boatload of them!!

THANK YOU!!!!!! If you ever need any computer work you have an open tab here!!

9. Oh, my God, are you me?
Man, I can chart the trajectory of my quarter-life crisis from approximately the beginning of September, 2001 (before which, things had been decent, even good, especially WRT a relationship I thought was great)...right up until about now and I would describe it as extremely similar to your situation. It's been hell on earth. But things are getting better (sort of).

10. BlueIris....
You mean I'm not alone! I'm fairly cautious about saying things are getting better anymore. Seems I say that and I'm wrong. In so many ways I don't even feel like the same person. I use to always be optimistic and upbeat. I always thought I could conquer anything. Not only that, I don't find the same joy in the things I always use to do (like my garden).

I find myself saying or thinking well (this or that) is usually this way. Now I am starting to worry where the line is from; "I am usually this way and off kilter right now" to "I use to be this way". I like for former me so much better than the later me! I hate to think it's the new me!!

I'm so sorry you are having similar things happen. I've been reading about those tines! I bet there are some coming our way soon!

Stella and cassie and others have been over the finer points with me. I was just offering F.O. a little empathy.

14. you're welcome...
...you'll see that stellanoir has added a significant amount of helpful info.

Two things I wanted to add:
1. I'd consider the square from your Sun to Pluto quite a blessing. Gemini energy can be flighty and that square gives your Sun depth and staying-power.

2. We all have things in our charts that we can rely on, no matter what the circumstances. Your Saturn is one of those things. It is dignified both by sign (Capricorn) and by house (10th). Saturn signifies, among other things, the work that we do. Though you've recently experienced a setback, you can count on your Saturn. It doesn't hurt that you have Jupiter in your 10th house, either!

12. Beyond what sofedup stated. . .
I would add that Saturn will transit your Mars in late June. This will be it's third pass due to retrogradation. The earlier passes were in early September and around the New Year. This can be a very frustrating transit. For this one, I often use the metaphor that it is as though you have to go carve Mt. Rushmore but you are only equipped with a plastic butter knife to do so. That's how it sometimes feels.

Mars represents your will, desire nature, and the sense that you have something unique to offer to the world. . .amongst other things . Saturn represents conformity, tradition, work, authority figures, etc.

So you can see wherein this transit can make a person feel a bit flattened. The good news is that with the triple pass, the first one makes a person realize "this ain't working." The second one gives you some clue of how to rectify it. The third one enables one to implement the appropriate changes. Fundamentally it is a time to reassess their priorities for the next 28 years (approx.) It sorta heavy. Ahhh that would be an understatement. In other words addressing, what is worth the devotion of your time and energy and what is not would be key. Interesting that you just had your progressed Mars conjoined Pluto over the last 2 years and that is a purgative aspect so you may not feel as though you are still drawing from the desire nature you were oriented to for your life prior to then.

Also you progressed Mercury moved into Cancer about a year and a half ago so you're probably feeling as though you're thinking differently. You are. Moving from air to water will over time, make you a lot more intuitive though you may still be adjusting and not accustomed quite yet to drawing more from your right brain as yet. You will adjust.

Your progressed Moon will conjoin your natal Mercury in about 8 months giving you more mental clarity. That often creates a "eureka" moment wherein one gets a tremendous amount of mental clarity. It's sort a bird's eye perspective on one's life.

The best news of all is that your progressed Venus will conjoin your natal Sun over in slightly over a year's time. That doesn't happen to everyone. It signifies an integration of one's spirit and the source of one's personal happiness. It's better than therapy and represents a healing of the heart. With Venus ruling your Ascendant it will help your self image, self worth, and self acceptance enormously.

You're in the home stretch now. Be gentle on yourself. You've gone through a lot but will heal and get back on track sooner than you think.

Best to you and glad you got your head out of the sand.

15. Stella,
Well you have given me much to think about. Thank you! I really do appreciate it a lot.

Oddly enough my head emerged from the sand because my life went awry. So I suppose there is a good side to everything. I'm glad I am not oblivous to the world around me like I was. However, I have to say I certainly was pretty happy with my head firmly implanted.

Reassess for the next 28 years?? Lately I've been doing good to live day by day. I guess I have some work to do!

Being gentle on myself is something I have never been very good at but thanks for the reminder!

I really do appreciate you taking the time. You have an open tab on computer help, too!!! Having invested so much of myself in my career (or the career I use to have pre-Bush) I really don't have much else to offer. Well except a lot of appreciation and well wishes!!

Thanks!!!
