I did a search on the group's archives and didn't find anything about the Archangels, so I thought that I would post this in case some others might find it interesting:

Do you know what the powers of the Archangels are? Do you know how they can help you?
Awareness of how the Archangels can enhance your life could finally remove your blocks

First of all, the Archangels want you to call on them for help. Don't worry that you are
overburdening them Archangels can help people simultaneously. They also have armies of
angels working under them to assist you in all ways. You can call on them whenever you need
powerful and immediate assistance. They will be at your side right away. No job is too large or
too small for the Archangels to take on.

The Archangels can bring you the blessings of the universe and the love The Divine. You don't
have to do it all alone. When asked, the Archangels will surround you and can help open the
doors of opportunity and illuminate the path to reaching your goals. They can't do everything,
however there will be work for you to do!

The Archangels are known as the overseers of the angelic realm and each has a specialty.
Here is information on four of the archangels. Before trying the meditations with the
Archangels, it's helpful if you are familiar with the chakras and that they are cleared and

1. I've had Michael as my protector for several months now

seeing what this source says about him, I can see why. He has been a stalwart source of strength for me through these months, helping me dispel many fears and illusions. His strength is the best feeling, gentle and self assured and full of love.

this is a good source, Dream. Thanks for posting it. It reminded me to thank my guardian angels for their help through all this.

2. I've called for Michael's help once

I have this strong pull towards him and once was having a spiritual attack and called for his help and he helped me. I was so releaved to have his help.

3. I personally love where it says that Gabriel is actually Gabrielle.

I read that before, and this being's energy does feel feminine to me. For some reason, I'm drawn to her. (I don't know what inside of me resonates with her, but something does.)

I do feel more of a her than a he. I get bright red hair with this angel. Do you? I believe most angels have light color hair don't they?

7. I think that you're much better than I am at actually "seeing" things...

FA82. My experiences are more feelings than images when I get something. I like the bright red hair picture; it fits for me! :)

9. Sometimes with me

I just out of nowhere have this image pop in my head. I also of course get feelings like you do first and than the image comes in my head and very clear.

12. for me Gabriel is basically andryogenous

and I see him with very white hair,clear light blue eyes and a cleft in his chin...go figure.

I have been drawing and painting angels & archangels for years. (wish I could figure a way to post my paintings...maybe one of these days :) )

I'm very connected to Gabriel and have been since childhood.

I think maybe when we see the archangels differently we are seeing their different aspects.

5. Thank you, Dream, for great & enlightening link....

I often call upon Archangel Michael and his band of mercy to remove all negative cords - unconsciously placed by others - before going to sleep, and always place his blue sword of protection all around & in the car when driving. Have an artist's portrayal of Gabrielle, and was also surprised and pleased that she is definitely feminine. The Archangels are a wonderful army of STRENGTH & EMPOWERMENT for us in these dark Kali Yuga times in which evil is rewarded (temporarily)....Definitely needed this reminder....Thanks again!

8. Thank you for that link, Dream, it is wonderful.

I have been told by many who know these things, that Michael is my Guardian Angel, and considering all the things I've gone through, I believe them. A prayer to Michael once, when I was very, very distraught, brought me to the house that has been my home for 25 years. I ended up in the driveway of it, not knowing why at the time. It is things like this that have made me believe absolutely in the power of prayer.
When I was 15, I was in a car wreck, where the car hit a telephone pole at over 100mph, the car was split in half, but everyone in the car walked away! Oddly enough, an ambulance crew watched the whole thing, and the very first comment made was: "One of you has a VERY POWERFUL Guardian Angel, because ALL of you should be dead!" He couldn't believe any of us survived, let alone WALK away - uninjured.

I am a devout believer in Angels!

10. Oh wow

What an amazing story. I don't think Michael is my guardian but I do think I have very close ties to him. I do have memories of my life in the spiritual realms and I remember a man who I believe is him. He's tall and has dark brown hair and a handsome face. He wears a white robe that has gold fringe on the edges of this robe. He has a wonderful smile but a serious face. You can feel he is a higher being and a serious spirit and takes his position seriously. Does anybody else get this with Michael?

11. Very naive question here:

Why have I always thought that the Archangels were the 'bad guys' of the Spiritual realm?
Are there media/literature representations of them that way?

13. Ever see the movie "Dogma"?

That was quite an interesting portrayal of the arch/angels.....and fallen angels.

There has been a lot written about the hierarchy of the Archangels, but I am steadily drifting away from anything hierarchical since I feel that comes more from where we are ( living in bodies on earth) than what may be true in spiritual reality. :)

14. The only movie where I saw an archangel doing something...

that would be considered an evil act was in "Constantine". I think that it was the Archangel Gabriel.

I think that Gabriel (or a being impersonating Gabriel) was in the novel "The Satanic Verses". (One of the strangest books that I've ever read. :crazy:)

15. I'm thinkin' 'The Prophecy' trilogy ...

I never could figure out Chris Walken's Archangel.
Was he bad ? Was he misunderstood ? Was he just in need of a hug ?

(I'll have to check it out at some point.)

In reality, archangels are true beings of light and are working with the Universe to bring each of us back to our true enlightened state of being.

Chris Walken as an archangel...what the hell were they thinking?

seriously tho, I had some old illusions about "warrior angels" that I needed to let go of too before I could accept angelic assistance. In truth, the only thing these guys slay are illusions :)
