Do you use any aspects of Feng Shui in your life?

Feng Shui is really complicated for me, but I try to do a few things taking its principles into account. For example:

• I always try to make sure that I represent all of the elements in my home and at work.
  
  
• I always try to make sure that I don't have sharp edges (shars) pointing at me.
  
  
• I make sure that I close toilet lids and bathroom doors.
  

However, there's so much more that I could do if I understood it more. (I've read some books, but I haven't been willing yet to put lots of effort into it.)

I'd love to have a Feng Shui expert come to my house and tell me what to change! Has anyone ever done this?

8. I agree about the clutter at work. I can't believe how much better I...

can concentrate when I take the few minutes it takes to put things back in order. I can feel when it needs it, and it almost always gives me clarity again after straightening up.

9. I bought this book on Feng Shui at Christmas

The author said that clutter actually traps negative energy, I haven't been able to
do this as much at home, but it's made a big difference at work.

6. I'm going to read the thread too,

but one thing I do is to make sure I use all four burners of my stove. I had the habit of just using one, or one side, but Feng Shui, at least what little I remember, says to use them all to keep the fire balanced.

7. Interesting that you said this, Delphinus. My stove has had...

a problem for a while with some of the burners not wanting to light. I've often thought that this was bad news, Feng Shui wise, but I've really hesitated to replace my stove since it still looks good and works fine. (I had someone in to "fix" the problem, but it came back again within a month.)

I need to think about this.... Hmmmm...
