Does anyone else feel dejavu a lot?
Lately since this new year I've been feeling it a bit more than usual. Has anyone else?

1. Nope.
But, my 'empathic' abilities are off the chart! I have to limit time out because I seem to pick up on everyone's emotions (anyone know how to shut this shit off?!?!). I do feeling this 'bubbling' sensation...I thought it was gas. Seriously though, I feel like a surge of energy has risen in me, not the kind that makes me want to go do things, the kind that makes me "see" things. You feeling something similar?

4. drag a tail
i'm serious

when you start feeling the "others" visualize a tail coming from the bottom of your spine and dragging on the ground and letting the "other's" emotions going around you

so try this, visualize a blue bubble around you and a tail (of your choosing, cat, dragon, whatever) dragging the ground to keep you attached to the earth

empaths spend half their lives walking three feet off the ground, you are half out of your body all the time. if you stay in your skin suit you will have better protection from outside energy

12. I love it!!
Monkeys are my favorite animals! I think I will use a monkey tail! I will also use the bubble. Does the color matter? I more particular to green in this case.

Thanks for the great idea!

7. Have you tried putting up a shield?
I had an experience with a spirit who tried to attack me on the spiritual level and ever since than I have a shield around me. I can still talk to my guides and sense things but not like I used to. I just feel a lot of dejavu.

11. Considering my screen name...
...one would think I would have thought of that! But, I sure didn't! It's a good idea. I usually use an aegis when I am about to do 'battle' with someone, especially a liar. Since it is the only "shield" I have ever called on, I wonder what it would do to shield my from emotions? Thanks for the idea.

3. I wish.
Edited on Sat Jan-07-06 11:20 AM by BlueIris
It used to happen to me all the time when I was younger; right on up through college. Now--never. Or, extremely rarely. In the past, I felt that the dejavu was an affirmation of my spiritual connection to the Universe, proof that my spiritual assessment of the Universe was (somewhat) accurate and valid, and lastly, comforting and even useful. Over time, despite my efforts to "bring it back," the absence of this occurrence in my life has left me with feelings of emptiness. As if I've ignored, and consequently lost, a crucial psychic tool. Sad. I envy you, FA82.

6. Hey, I could've sworn you've already asked that question.
heheh.

In answer to your question, no, I personally haven't noticed it any more than usual.

8. I used to feel it off and on
but lately it's like all the time almost. I'll be doing something and feel it. And also something else with school: when I went to register last week I wasn't nervous like I used to get. I was more excited. There's just something different about this year.

14. Karma and deja vu
I have red that deja vu is a marker for past life or karmic soul purpose recognition. Basically the theory is that we chose our lives before birth. In our in between life state we sit down with our guides and decide what it is we want to work on in this life. We also chose specific markers to help guide us and remind us of our goals and purpose. Or the deja vu can simply be a flash of remembering the discussions we had with our guides about
this life.

17. I have heard that
I think that could be what's going on. I know some things that I have to work on here so could be why I'm feeling dejavu a lot lately. This year will be interesting that's for sure.

16. Not so much anymore, but I used to get it a LOT
Weird, but I used to get deja vu...a LOT.

I'd be in a moment, thinking, "I KNOW I've seen this before", never figured it out until college. I was sitting in class one day, and the scene playing out was EXACTLY something I'd dreamt a couple nights earlier.

The scenes were always just a few seconds (maybe 10-15) - never an important event...just ordinary day-to-day stuff. I'd never connected it solidly to dreams before that incident, as the dreams were usually months before the event, so I couldn't be sure I'd dreamt it.

18. I had that happen once before!
Edited on Mon Jan-09-06 08:50 PM by FreedomAngel82
It was one term and I had an evening class and so in the afternoon before I left I took a little nap to rest so I can stay awake in class. I had this dream that I went to the classroom and nobody was there (I had gotten there a good little bit early and most people came in during the five minutes before class). The teacher came in and told me they had moved to another classroom because it was really stuffy in the normal room so we went next door where they had more ventalation. My Mom came and woke me up and the whole way I was going to school I felt the strong sense of dejavu. Than I got to the room and everything happened exactly as I had dreamt it and I even sat in the same place I did when I dreamt it! Something else weird is I used to be going to classes and I'd have a feeling I was forgetting something. Hasn't happened yet this year.
