The Michael System

I have started re-reading Your Soul's Plan by Robert Schwartz. When I read it a coupla years back, it was good, but I find it resonates more now. Maybe I've become more evolved... Schwartz didn't create the standards for The Michael System, but noted it as a reference.

This page is rather long to sift thru, I must warn...

Very interesting indeed.

1. The Michael Teaching
Edited on Tue Aug-30-11 11:13 PM by AC_Mem
Ah... The Michael! I have been an off and on student of the The Michael Teachings since the early 70's and have had my overleaves (and that of all my family members) channeled. It's an interesting, deep study and I found that it helped me understand people (their motivations, goals, etc.).

I literally have thousands of pages of Michael channeling, some of it very rare from the original channels.

I can probably answer some questions if anyone has them. We actually had one of the Michael channels as a teacher when I co-owned and ran a spiritual cruise business - VERY interesing classes!

What's Your Role? Fun and insightful: http://www.itstime.com/game.htm

My overleaves: Artisan (Old/5), Scholar Cast, Goal of Growth, Mode of Observation sliding into Passion, Spiritualist Attitude with Intellectual Center and Emotional Part. Chief Feature: Primary is Self-Depreation, Secondary is Arrogance. Life Task: "To teach by example the embodiment of true abundance".

Shine on,
Annette

2. I love it! I was reading some of this last week...
and was going to post about it but didn't have time to do it justice. It really does resonate with me. (I just happened to fall upon it while reading something else.)

Thank you for bringing it here. :)

3. I have to nit pic this.
Since I am a philosophical Taoist, it upsets me a little to see "Tao" defined wrongly.

To make things easier for you, the universal life force or Tao created a system of personality traits called overleaves, to be worn like a cloak over your true Role.

Tao is not the life force.

Taoism refers to a philosophical or religious tradition of which the basic concept is to establish harmony with the Tao (道), which is everything that exists, the origin of everything and because of the latter it is also nothing.

Daoist theology emphasizes various themes found in the Daodejing and Zhuangzi, such as naturalness, vitality, peace, "non-action" (Wuwei, see below), emptiness (refinement), detachment, flexibility, receptiveness, spontaneity, the relativism of human ways of life, ways of speaking and guiding behavior.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taoism

Qi is frequently translated as "lifeforce" or "energy flow", and is comparable to the Hindu yogic science of prana, meaning "life force" in Sanskrit.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%27i

For someone who is not Taoist this probably doesn't mean anything. However, for anyone who is interested, the distinction needs to be made to avoid confusion.

4. I must've missed that..
Thanks for the correction...

I'm sure there are other sites that discuss The Michael System and use more accurate terminology.
