A Dramatic Culmination in This Week's Capricorn Lunar Eclipse
Ever since Pluto entered Capricorn (January 26, 2008), Saturn entered Libra (October 29, 2009) and Uranus and Jupiter entered Aries (May 27, 2010 and June 6, 2010), events have been set in motion that will reverberate throughout the coming years. We have been witnessing and experiencing some of the first ripple-waves that on a global level show up as earth events like volcano eruptions and earthquakes, and on a national, environmental, and human level, culminate in events like the BP oil rig explosion. On all levels, worn out systems and infrastructures are crumbling and old ideas and habit patterns are being challenged. A faltering economy, stressed-out people and uncertainty about the future has a lot of people worried.

Things have been ramping up this week and it is easy to allow your emotions to get the best of you. The Sun in sensitive and security-conscious Cancer with the Moon in ambitious Capricorn is highlighting the connection between your personal and family life (national life for a country) and your career or worldly ambitions for yourself, your country or the world.

Pluto sits next to the Moon during the eclipse (emotional intensity!), while Saturn (out of sign due to its retrograde into late Virgo) and a Uranus/Jupiter conjunction square both the Moon and Sun. Astrologers call this a Grand Cross.

2. thank you for this
I like her writing and interpretations. Especially like this line from linked Saturn article, "The more time that is spent resenting others for not treating us well or trying to get them to treat us better, the less we are remembering to treat our self better."

5. Oh boy , ain't that the truth, I feel like a LOON
lately...I am usually pretty level headed, but I have lost it several times this past week. Just bawled my eyes out. Silly things set me off, old photographs, emails, etc. Sheesh.

6. Right there with you PhillyGurl
Anything can set me off and I just puddle up. It's so frustrating (especially for the gemini who must think everything through -- UGH), and there is nothing I can do to stop it. I'm sort of glad I'm unemployed right now, because who knows what kind of havoc I would wreak in an office situation?
