1. May justice be served
Ray was wrong to offer an incorrect form of the sweatlodge without the proper oversight, and he deserves to be charged and tried.

2. There was another story
reported here for a while in San Diego, where he's based, but I'm not sure if it reached national attention. Namely in this program, having people dress up and pretend to be homeless and living on the streets. One very vulnerable woman, Colleen Conaway - I forget her state of origin - committed suicide at Horton Plaza, jumping off a promenade. She repeatedly complained, her family complained, and then lost and alone in a foreign city she killed herself.

On the day of her suicide, even though Ray knew she was dead, he loaded up the "homeless" group in a van and didn't bother to respond when a member asked, where is Colleen? Most members of the group didn't realize the suicide they'd heard about was one of their members! The poor woman's family tried to get back the $12,000 she spent on the event but Ray refused. He eventually sent a condolence letter stating something like sorry for your loss.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure Conaway's suicide was three weeks Before the Sedona deaths. Ray's got some serious explaining to do.

4. Dear God.
That is horrifying.

Speaking of the explanation he owes--I wonder if they'll let him testify? Something tells me...not so much. But here's hoping.

3. vultures and charlatans abound in this field
And those with no common sense.

As they abound in banking, insurance, etc.

Skepticism is really, really helpful-- in the traditional sense of the word, not the automatic debunking sense. He didn't set out to kill people, but he's just a complete idiot, and reckless. Yes, may justice be served.

ALWAYS it is necessary to filter out the total crap.
