reported here for a while in San Diego, where he's based, but I'm not sure if it reached national attention. Namely in this program, having people dress up and pretend to be homeless and living on the streets. One very vulnerable woman, Colleen Conaway - I forget her state of origin - committed suicide at Horton Plaza, jumping off a promenade. She repeatedly complained, her family complained, and then lost and alone in a foreign city she killed herself.
On the day of her suicide, even though Ray knew she was dead, he loaded up the "homeless" group in a van and didn't bother to respond when a member asked, where is Colleen? Most members of the group didn't realize the suicide they'd heard about was one of their members! The poor woman's family tried to get back the $12,000 she spent on the event but Ray refused. He eventually sent a condolence letter stating something like sorry for your loss.
If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure Conaway's suicide was three weeks Before the Sedona deaths. Ray's got some serious explaining to do.
