I've never heard of it.

Reiki attunement has been on my list of things to accomplish for awhile; the timing just hasn't worked so far. A local UU church does classes and attunements for $35; a long way from $1000s!

I have downloaded, printed and put into binders the entire course. It's all been waiting for me to get started for many months now. With this election over I can finally recenter and start my focus back to it.

4. I do the reiki attunements for all three levels for $250 and then

give them a book on Reiki called Reiki essentials - it has all the information they need - I take about 2 hours -

I find the cost others charge is outrageous - most people have the energy - it just needs to be turned on -

so I make some and give the rest away -

Many if not most of the time the books and other material are added costs. I friend had given me "Inner Reiki" a book the sells for $20, this is only a practical guide to get one started but you get the idea.

8. reiki is energy based - the more you use your energy the stronger it

can become - some people naturally will flow to the energy

the reiki attunements are

let me use an analogy for a second -
if you go to church there are rituals - set ways to do things in your church - the repetition every week is in a sense like meditation and has a comfort level to it

now with reiki - there are symbols/ritual of the way to do energy work - does it work - I don't know of scientific proof -

what I know is that we are all energy beings - using that energy for good - can help others - some claim it can heal -

for me I asked God(life force) to use me as a channel to bring the healing energy to the person where they need it most -

I still can do the exact hand placements - sometimes as I do them I find I am drawn to areas on a person - I 'listen' to the energy and go where 'it' leads me -

I don't know if the person gets better - what I do know is they may feel better -

now as far as the attunements - you receive the 'ritual' that allows the opening of your energy to help others - depending on your prior level of energy it may be noticable right away or it may happen over time

most people experience my touch - when I am in healing mode - as hot little heater hands - they think I have heaters - but it is just the energy turned on

10. What separates Chios and those you posted are

The creator of Chios, Steve Barrett has offered this to all with the sole purpose that everyone anywhere can use it for the betterment of our society and the world we live in. Before I knew anything about healing and after meditating and asking for guidance, answers and direction, Chios was the first thing that came up in my search. For me it offered everything I was looking for and the fact the person who created it did so with only helpful intent was all I needed to get started.
