He spent most of the day playing with his new buddy, the foster kitten:

“No, you can get it-you’re the guest”!


Tonight he'll get his favorite dinner, treats, and extra playtime.

8. HOW are you going to be able to part with the little Goblin? He seems

to be crawling into everyone's heart and making a permanent spot for himself.
I went to Catster and saw Peewee's pics. He was an Angel. I can see why he was so special. Those shots of him sleeping with his head on his Santa toy were priceless...such a sweet little baby. No guilt, Lorien. You did the best you could with what you knew at the time. I have no doubt you would have given up anything you had to have saved him.

10. It was tough, but I did it tonight

He went home with his new foster mom. He'll have LOTS of other kittens to play with!

He and Obie loved spending time together:


Even though Obie looked long suffering at times, lol!


But tonight the Goblin got a new “brother”-little Harrison, a bottle baby who was also raised without siblings:


They liked each other at once. They even settled down for a nap as soon as they were put in the carrier:


Poor Oberon has spent the whole evening in the “kitten room” by the Goblin’s basket, waiting for his little buddy. It so hard when you can’t explain to your fur friends what’s going on!

So sorry to hear that you've "been there, done that" too. Hardest. Thing. Ever.

I was sure hoping he was going to stay with you. Oh well.
I hope you will be getting some updates on him...and some pics so we can see how he develops.
Tell his new family that little Goblin has a whole fan club here and we need to know how he is doing...and what his new name is.

18. I miss him too!

I may end up adopting him after he has been neutered and had his time at "kitten camp". His new foster mom said that he actually ate wet food today once he saw his new "brother" eating it-that's great progress already! She said he should learn the litter box thing by watching the older kittens too-I sure hope so. She's so impressed by what a little cuddler he is. I am really tempted to keep him, especially with Miro being as old as he is (I'd hate for Obie to be without a boy "buddy" -and I think 3 kitties is the ideal number for me-though Miro is doing well and I hope he'll be around for a few more years). But then again, if he and his little ginger brother can be adopted out together, I think they would both be very happy.

On edit: I almost forgot- the new mom is calling him "Almond Joy"-what kind of a name is THAT for a kitten?

I did not know that you have the option to adopt him..That is good news. I pray for a long and healthy life for Miro...but should something unforeseen happen, it could be Goblin that would fill the void for Obie.
On the other hand, it is always nice to have kittens adopted out in pairs. They should always have a buddy.
Will his new foster Mom be sending you any pics of his progress.

22. I'll see him again when he's ready to go

so I'll take photos then. I'm putting a new poster of him and his ginger buddy up at my holistic pet food store tomorrow. I'm hoping that someone else will think they look as cute together as I do!
The new foster mom said that he's still peeing everywhere. I'm kind of concerned about that. We thought than when he saw the other kittens use the box, he would too (they usually learn from mom and each other) but he doesn't seem to have any real bladder control. Maybe it's because he's still adjusting to the foster mom's house? I certainly hope that it's not because of a medical issue. He IS weaned finally-that's a relief...but the peeing has me worried. :-(
