Has anyone used an animal behaviorist?
This is a follow-up to my question about kitty prozac...

Anyway, I took Spencer to the vet this morning and the vet agreed that he needs to be on anti-anxiety meds, but he also thinks that I should hire a behaviorist to help Spencer change the unwanted behavior. I'm skeptical. Ok, more than skeptical. Mostly because 99% of the time, Spencer is totally well-behaved. But when I go on trips, he freaks and poops outside of the litter box. How in the world is a behaviorist going to help that? It's not like he/she can come over when I leave and stay there, waiting for Spence to poop in the living room.

Also, any ideas on how much this is going to cost me? Ugh. Damn cat. :P
