my wife has lots of Audio Cassettes she wants to put on CD's & Mp3...howdoyadothat..??
what program is best..and/or easy..?

and i have an extensive library of Buddhist teachings.. some are 7-8 cassettes long. i have a one 7 tape set on the Heart Sutra that was done on a retreat in India.. with an old sony 6 volt..it has motor noise and is scratchy, i'd like to clean that one up if possible.

i have Nero..
i don't know how to use it for cassette

You need to go from line out on the cassette deck to line in on your computer.

3. Line out from the cassette player to Line In on the computer.

Now, once that connection is made, can you play music from the cassette deck through the computer's sound card and speakers? If so, then you can use a program like Audacity (free, open source, kick ass) to record anything/everything that is played through your computer's sound card and save that as an MP3.
