America's Test Kitchen Chicken Tikka Masala

I made this today. It's pretty good. I enjoy spices and herbs, but it was still a bit strong for my personal taste, so if I made it again, I'd cut back just a bit on the spices, maybe using 2/3rds of the amounts specified.

I also had one little "boo boo" -- I forgot to pick up the plain yogurt called for in the recipe, so I just subbed sour cream -- I didn't think it would make a lot of difference, and it didn't seem to when all was said and done.

I didn't link to the official America's Test Kitchen site, because you have to sign up for a membership (and I believe enter a credit card #) before you can access the recipe there.

2. America's test kitchen

is absolutely my favourite cooking show on TV. I've made the Chicken Tikka Masala, too. Just as good as you'd get in a restaurant. All the recipes I've tried have turned out great.
