Grocery shopping at Amazon
I'm about to order a case of canned tomatoes; 12/28oz cans for $16.84. Free shipping. From Naples. Í can't decide about the anchovy paste. I may not live long enough to use up 12 tubes. Does anyone else have their catering done by UPS?

You can get some good deals at Amazon but they are few and far between. I use I Gourmet though quite a bit. They have great prices on cheese and always buy tons when they have free shipping deals. I also regularly purchase from Bell Plantation....The Powdered Peanut Butter is a staple for me. It took some getting use to eating it plain but I also love it in recipes. http://www.bellplantation.com.

2. I've found them a great resource for non wheat flours
along with the books that tell me what to do with them when I get them.

I haven't ordered any other foodstuffs from them. Costco is it for bulk stuff.

3. I recently found a 25 pound bag of Bulgar
for $22 with free shipping. Whole grain sour rye pumpernickle is hard to find elsewhere. You have to buy a dozen, but it keeps forever. Granted, shopping is hit or miss, but that adds to the enternmainment value.

Since we figure stuff that we use in bulk, we might as well order online.

We joke that we are keeping UPS in business! :)

7. I'm thinking that it's deal gone wild.

Haven't you noticed that you can find a good Amazon deal - and buy it - that the price shoots up after the buy? I have seen it over and over. I still buy there though, and always sort by price to get the best deal.

I purchase the yearly fee for prime 2-day shipping for whatever I purchase under that program, so I think I still am ahead of the game. Returns are hassle free and they pay return shipping if it's their fault.
