rhubarb candy?
I am not a chocolatier, but I just acquired a couple of chocolate molds. Anyone ever make chocolate covered jellied candies? I've got rhubarb in the garden, I was thinking a fruit jell with that and a chocolate coating might be tasty. Do you use pectin to set up the filling?

1. I've never made candies
and I'm not sure if rhubarb has any pectin in it or not.

I did find a couple of sites, tho:

3. thanks
I looked it up after this post - there's pretty much no pectin in rhubarb at all it turns out.

2. I've never made them, but I do like those.
I enjoy the raspberry jells covered with chocolate. Rhubarb would be great, IMO. I think you could use a combination of pectin and gelatin for best results.

4. I am giving it a try right now
I put in just plain gelatin for this attempt since I had it on hand, but I think the combination might be more the way to go.
