Dropping off the radar for a bit

I'd been participating more since I was feeling better, and my surgery had been postponed, but it's now scheduled for Thursday. I'm going to spend Wednesday with my family, and right now is a flurry of phone calls and arrangements and "what if's" and it's a limited basis until Thursday, and then not for a while (at least until the drugs wear off).

I've made arrangements that if worst comes to worst (hopefully it shouldn't, butchaneverknow) that someone will phone HippyWife and hopefully she will pass it along to the group. I'm not planning on that happening, but my background as a software architect has me automatically wanting to cover all bases.

With any luck, a few days later (maybe the weekend) as I'm more functional, I'll try to send a message to the group. I might have my laptop, or it might just be my iPhone, but one way or another I'll try to get across news if all went well.

Right now I have a ton of paperwork and arrangements. I'll stop in if I need a break, but my luxury of just spending hours here is pretty much over.
