1. I *love* that site

I came across it a few days ago. The picture of the good luck cake with the frowney faces made me laugh harder than I have laughed in about 10 years.

Editing to link to pictures (these are from the site I originally got to the Cake Wrecks blog from)...

My favorite (laughing as I type this!):

And this is my second favorite:

8. LOL
I like these. The poorly executed ones don't make me laugh, but wit, or a screwup on a pretty cake kill me. :D

5. A friend of mine from CA
told me this story:

My friend's father was a composer who did mostly scores for movies, so he grew up with Hollywood as part of his background.

The story is that Jonathan Winters and his wife had a baby, and, when the child was a month or two old, hosted a party to introduce their child to their friends.

The party was going on, beautiful Sunday afternoon event, but no sign of the kid.

Finally, a troupe of waiters made a grand entrance, pushing and accompanying a cart with a big domed silver serving tray in the middle of the extravagantly decorated surface.

Winters and his wife made the presentation to a hushed assemblage - their baby, when the dome was lifted, was lying on a thick bed of parsley.

7. LOL...this is another funny baby one:

The site owner's comment:

"The plastic clone babies wearing naught but mohawks are bad enough, but then they're also riding carrots. What do you do with that? It looks like some kind of perverted vegetable rodeo, or maybe a bizarre clone military exercise, what with their little plastic fists raised high in identical salutes. And what kind of occasion calls for a "naked babies riding carrots" decor, anyway? No, wait, maybe I don't want to know"

Some of the "Thanks for paying my bail" genre were pretty good, too.
