Sunday Morning Break'ast!
Belgian Waffles made with Pamela's Pancake mix (one of my few concessions to processed foods coz it's just so danged good!) with the addition of a tsp. of vanilla, topped with cooked apples (in a sauce made from butter, brown sugar, a little real maple syrup, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, & nutmeg), thick slice bacon straight from the farm, and eggs from our own coop. Fresh squeezed OJ and ice cold milk.

This is the one morning that I try to take the time to make a special breakfast. :9

1. You just inspired me
to go downstairs and make some of my favorite "Waffles of Insane Greatness" (and they are, too! You can look up the recipe at the Food Network's site). And scrambled eggs and bacon. Breakfast... yum!!!!

You could cook for me anytime, Hippywife! You b'fast sounds supreme!

Thanks for the inspiration.

:hi:

2. Just looked it up and
bookmarked it!

I was thinking that buckwheat waffles sounded good, so maybe next time I'll use this recipe with buckwheat flour.

And I would cook for you any ol' time at all darlin'! You're always welcome at our table.
