Pizza Notte di Venerdì (pic) Redux

Not a very good pic, at that! And it's half gone! Was really hungry and couldn't wait. LOL

Tonight it was a wheat basil crust brushed with olive oil and minced garlic, baked for 10 minutes before topping. Toppings were a finely shredded six cheese Italian blend, caramelized onions and sliced baby bellas, another layer of cheese, then sliced fresh tomatoes that had been tossed in balsamic vinegar and black pepper, black olives, then a smattering of shredded provolone and julienned fresh basil from the garden. :9

Now I'm eating almond cream cheese ice cream with dark chocolate chunks. What? I only had one slice of pizza! ;)
