I do love DeCecco brand. The one in the blue box that is over $2 a pound and worth it! For dry pasta that is.

Fresh is good, too.

5. It just has to be Barilla

Because "Husb" INSISTS on it, and he stocks it up (just in case there's a terrible storm or something and we can't get out for a month, I guess?).

Once we were at the grocery store and he started putting the Barilla boxes in the cart, and I said, "It's not on sale, and we already have tons!" He said, "No we don't, I think we're down to about a dozen." A lady walking by cracked up laughing. Thing is, he was serious.

8. Actually homemade linguine

I occasionally make my own pasta and it's nothing like the stuff in the box. Also can't eat as much, for it is very filling....yum!!
