My new stove has one, and i am in love with crispy fried stuff again (instead of soggy barely browned)

I wish I had not tosses my old wok.. Maybe I'll get me a new one :)

1. Ya got me by 500 btu. Our new(er) Viking cooktop has a 16,000 btu burner.

It works great with the wok we have. The wok is huge. 16", steel, one rolled handle.

2. Something in that range....
But it still does not work with my wok. The wok needs something like a Bunsen burner, and the powerburner has too large a diameter.

I think that next time we have the stove out to have the hose replaced, I'm going to have it split and a bunsen head put on the split. I've been checking, and the prices aren't bad for the parts.

5. Mine's a Whirlpool 457 or something like that.
It came with the house when I bought it in 2000. It's freestanding.
