Did you have an Easter basket?
I went to my mom's house and she made me a special vegan jambalaya (which was really good!) and made me an Easter platter of my favorite fruits and veggies! It even had the little plastic grass :P I thought it was nice!

3. How cool, flvegan!
What type of rescues do you have? I have one Himalayan kitty ~ she's 10 yrs. old, and I have my new kitty girl ~ she's a beautiful Tortoiseshell that was brought into my vet's office. Someone moved out of any apt. and dumped her by the side of the road on the way out! That's OK, though, cuz I got her now and she's the love of my life!! :bounce:

4. I run a "last chance" rescue for companion animals, mostly
99% dogs. Mostly abused or abandoned and neglected. We also get calls from the emergency clinics where the animal has been brought in, all banged up, hit by a car, etc and the family can't afford to put them back together. Either we take responsibility, or they get put down. Whatcha gonna do?

The abused dogs come from a myriad of situations. Vet clinics, the cops, animal control...sometimes they get "removed" from their situation by yours truly and special friends of mine.

Nice on ya for taking in that torti. She gets along with your Himalayan, I trust?

5. Ya know, now that I think
about it, I think I asked you about your rescue before. That is so awesome!

My two kitty girls get along quite well. At first the Himmie, Angeline, was a little put off that someone new was in HER house, but now they're fine. They run around and play and both sleep in the bed with me now. :hi:
