The homeless person I have put up in my house said the nicest thing I've heard in years
She said my house is the safest place she's been in a long time.

She was sleeping in her car with her dog, who she will not give up no matter what.

That is all.

12. I know you mean well, but you really shouldn't repeat that...
Referring to the homeless as "the least" of the human race only reinforces ugly ideas and stereotypes.

IMO, Jesus (or the translators) phrased that badly... especially considering that in other sermons, Jesus indicates that those considered "the least" by worldly standards have the highest status in the spiritual kingdom.

6. Unfortunately for her, you are an insane axe murderer who makes
friendship bracelets out of the flesh of your victim's pets.

9. I thought
that compassion had disappeared. I'm so glad that you are helping her.

I am so sick of the phrase "take responsibility for your life" being used as DOUBLE-SPEAK to mean "I really don't care about anybody but myself. Your problems cannot benefit me in anyway, so I am not interested in you.!"

HE AIN'T HEAVY, HE'S MY BROTHER. Remember that wonderful song from the 60's.?

14. Remember "There but for the grace of God go I"? Lots of things we no longer think, let alone say.
:(

It's all about "getting the edge".

11. I commend you for taking her in
Many people will say that homelessness is awful and make a donation to a homeless shelter. However, they don't care so much that they would open their home to an a homeless individual in need like you have. Good for you!

13. You are doing the right thing.
Thanks for being someone who cares.

This is from a former (and possibly future) homeless person.
