Researchers on Monday reported that they have found three new frog species in Colombia, including one that resembles Mr. Burns from "The Simpsons," as they searched for species that have been "lost" for decades.

A team of researchers led by Robin Moore of Conservation International (CI) has set out to find species of amphibians that have not been seen in decades. In their search for the "lost" species the team has discovered three new species, according to a press release.

The new species found are the beaked toad (genus Rhinella), the rocket frog (genus Silverstoneia) and a new toad species (genus undetermined).

"As for the new beaked toad," Moore states, "it is easily one of the strangest amphibians I have ever seen. Its long pointy snout-liked nose reminds me of the nefarious villain, Mr. Burns, from The Simpsons television series."

5. That was my first thought
But now remember it was a fish that had three eyes. Maybe they will find one of those in the Gulf of Mexico.
