While this was empirical research, it seems to be very effective. Hopefully we will see more details soon, and other similar compounds.

Rawstory always locks up my old computer forever while it's loading who knows what. I don't go there, but this sounds like an interesting story.

The approach to targeting cancer stem cells successfully is the cool part obviously. So instead of "anti-stem cell research" we can be FOR "anti-stem-cell research".

it is an antibiotic which is already in use primarily in livestock. So question is - is it helpful against CSC for that action, or only breast CA for some hormone effect? (among other questions) Lot o' links but this is simplest: http://www.intervetusa.com/binaries/130_126583.pdf
