1. Would you settle for a spiritual site rather than a "religious" gabfest?

There are countless numbers of people throughout the world who refuse to come to grips with the reality of American economic and military preponderance today. This is particularly true in left-wing, intellectual circles in the United States, and ESPECIALLY IN EUROPE - to say nothing of American Christian circles that stubbornly refuse to see what America has become - "...a BEAST, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly ... that ... devoures and brakes in pieces, and stamps the ... (people of the earth) with its feet ..." (Dan. 7:7).

"... Nichts ist schwerer und nichts erfordert mehr Charakter, als sich in offenem

Gegensatz zu seiner Zeit zu befinden und laut zu sagen: Nein!

- Kurt Tucholsky, Germany, 1934

THE WTO AND THE MASSES
"... they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Tim. 6:9-10)

2. I'll check this site out
but I was thinking something more along the lines of dailykos that keeps tabs on the religious stories that are going on and their political consequences. Jesus' General comes close, but is not quite comprehensive enough...

3. Here's one that might be of interest.
This is the link Marvin Olasky's blog.

http://www.worldmagblog.com/blog/

Not really religious like most right wing blogs. hah

Olasky, as you may know, is the one given credit for inventing that fraudulent description "compassionate conservative." He has some kind of journalism school where he teaches the "new" right journalist to skew the news to their extreme Christian positions.

There are commenters from both sides of the tracks in the comments but the blog itself is whole hog wingnut propaganda with a "Christian" perspective designed to keep them foaming at the mouth. There you can find links to other religious blogs associated with Worldmag.

Worldmag is like the nest in Alien where all the pods were waiting to hatch.

btw, this is NOT the World and I which is a Moon operation.

Also, they get upset when you post O'lasky cause they say he isn't Irish. haha

4. Go to www.raptureready.com
or www.rr-bb.com, their bulletin board. It's a haven for wingnuts. Many believe Bush was ordained by God.
