Legislatures in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico met in 2009, leading to the enactment of 40,697 laws, many of which take effect January 1.

My state has a new one. Starting Jan 1st it's against the law to have your windshield wipers on without having your lights on too! Some safety nazi thought we didn't have enough to worry about so he came up with this winner.

We need to form a political group that's dedicated to doing only ONE THING! Removing all the unnecessary bullshit laws from the books!
