Somebody here recently asserted there was no mercury in vaccines anymore..

I've done a search and I can't for the life of me find the thread, my memory is fuzzy. There's been a lot of stuff going on at my house lately, sorry. But I just wanted to mention that I remember finding this statement odd, because just a couple months ago we took my son in for his flu shot to the county health dept.; and I had to ask to get the non-thiomerisol vaccine..which they happily provided. So there still is thiomerisol (an organomercury) in some vaccines, in some places. I just wanted to make a public note of that; to correct the statement. 1. Yes, it IS given in some flu vaccines, which they recommend for pregnant women.

But anyone, including pregnant women, can ask for the single-dose thimerosal-free vaccine.

In particular, Thimerosal has been essentially absent for most of the years during which the "autism epidemic" is said to have occurred. Curious timing for an epidemic supposedly caused by Thimerosal, if you ask me.

5. Even scarier

My husband used to work for an HMO, at one of their hospitals. The flu vaccine was mandatory for all employees. Some people asked for the vaccine without thiomersal, but they ran out...so they gave these people the vaccine WITH thiomersal and told them it was nonthiomersal. Flat-out lied. Yeah, that didn't help with trust issues when it comes to health care companies... :scared:

point. Also, flu jabs are being recommended for children 6mos. - 18 years now.
