Canada's Liberals Give Resounding Support To Party's Gay Marriage Bill

The Liberal Party of Canada overwhelmingly endorsed same-sex marriage at its national convention Saturday in keeping with the minority Liberal government's bid to legalize gay weddings.

Similar resolutions, all pushed by the party's youth wing, were voted down at three previous conventions.

``Fourth time charmed,'' beamed Richard Diamond, president of the Young Liberals.

2. Netherlands has it. Now us. Then Spain & Europe. Actually
the very practical Canadian tourism industry estimated it would take Billions of dollars away from USA tourism just because of the gay & lesbian tourists. They are the ones with the money. How very practical of us - eh?
