I am representing a landmark gay gov't employee firing suit

A well-qualified guy is running a county teen court program, and the county commissioners find out he is gay, and they quickly fire him. And they even tell him to his face: "We don't want gay pedophiles working for this county." This is one of the most conservative counties in Texas.

We are filing a federal lawsuit, seeking actual and punitive damages, attorneys' fees, and court costs.

We are NOT the lawyers to be eff'ed with! LOL!! Justice will be sweet here!

but can't see how. It is perfectly legal under both Texas and federal law to fire people simply for being gay. I wish you best of luck though.

The very first time I voted, when I was 18, I voted to make that illegal (Washington State). I'm 55. I can't believe it's not illegal everywhere. That breaks my heart.
